Job Responsibilities

The Amazon Planning & Business Intelligence Expert will report to the Head of PAN EU & MEIA Amazon business and will be responsible to:
- Assess Amazon on-platform De’longhi Group Brands/Categories performances and Competitive landscape to support the Retail team on designing the strategy and action plan to secure full potential acting upon the different Retail levers (Line-Up, Pricing, Promo mechanics, Visibility packages, …) and projecting financial implications.
- The Resource should be constantly scouting and updated on the latest Amazon Retail initiatives and beta product so that he can be a clear reference for the markets as centre of expertise and foster cross pollination of best practises across markets.
- Support the HQ Retail team on a high-level execution management of the Amazon data lake at country level, the related data crunching and results processing via several data dashboards. He/she will determine the testing needed to assure functionality and integrity of the BI solutions, create ad-hoc testing plans and corrective actions if needed.
- He/she will design, create and maintain ad-hoc and permanent reporting docs by using any available or new BI tool to successfully transform the current state reporting into an efficient and effective source of information and metrics monitoring able to actively support on daily basis the HQ Retail team on the Amazon countries performance analysis.
- He/she will also be the first level advisor to ensure a best in class business execution and the max level of speed in data availability and data decision based for the PAN European scenario.
- He/she will actively work also with the Amazon e-merchandising and ADV team along the funnel to identify both the right level of corrections and any data set needed to raise awareness, visibility, traffic, end-consumer engagement and conversion rate.
- It will be required a permanent level of engagement and interaction with all the Amazon counterparts both at local and Pan European level with a particular focus on the metrics related to objectives belonging either to the baseline or promo/deal periods.
- He/she will she permanently grant an effective communication channel with all the Departments (such as Marketing, NPD, Customer Care, Supply Chain) involved in a best in class execution of the Amazon business.

Job Profile

- Proven track records of the last three or five years within Amazon ecosystem
- Degree in Economics / Marketing or similar;
- Project management and time management skills;
- Good analytics skills;
- Good interpersonal skills to work in a team and interface with all levels of corporate functions;
- IT tools (excellent knowledge of Excel);
- Fluent knowledge of English;
- Excellent data based decision making;
- Good planning and organization capabilities;
- Team working and objective based methodology.
