Job Responsibilities
The De'Longhi Group is one of the worlds leading players in small domestic appliances associated with the world of coffee, the kitchen, air conditioning, and home care. We are looking for a CATEGORY MANAGER to create and execute of a coherent category strategy. The person will be actively participates in various stages of introducing a new product or services to the market.
The duties include ongoing supervision over business performance, sales, distribution, pricing and promotion. CATEGORY MANAGER will work closely with other departments (Communication Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Headquarters, Financial controlling etc.).
The role reports to a CATEGORY DIRECTOR CEE.
Location: Prague.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned portfolio of categories by monitoring their performance, analyzing KPIs, recommending and executing actions.
- Manage full 4P - product, price, place, promotion - in line with long term business goals.
- Recommend and lead local go-to-market approaches (Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Ukraine, Moldova) based on each market’s needs, local trade partner environment and local consumers’ needs.
- Own and lead the launch process of new products into markets.
- Equip internal (other departments) and external (trade partners) stakeholders with market winning ideas and activations.
- Analyze various business and market data (including working with GFK panel data) available to fuel proper business decisions.
- Provide an outstanding service to the sales and communication teams to ensure our strategies reach consumers.
- Prepare and lead internal meetings with other departments - communication, sales, supply, headquarters, finance.
Job Profile
Key Requirements from the candidate:
- 2 years of working experience in in the same position.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing/business/economics.
- Fluent English, comfortable working in an international environment.
- Passion for consumer and digital marketing understanding.
- Analytical mind and data-driven approach to actions.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proactive, KPI driven, results-oriented, well organized and keeping time commitments.
- Able to adjust to a fast-changing business environment.
- Available for business travel, approximately 20 days/year.
