CUSTOMER ORDER FULFILLMENT & DISTRIBUTION MANAGER (F/M/X)

Job Responsibilities

The COFD Manager is responsible for managing and supporting several business areas within the role such as: order management, shipping, warehouse planning, transportation, supplier management, reports & analytics, projects.
The COFD Manager wil be directly involved in order fulfillment processes including order entry, administration and shipping. Oversee the order tracking process and ensure orders are processed in accordance with the organization’s customer service standards. Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs.

Principle Accountabilities:
-Responsible for serving as the technical reference for the function as well as the development and maintenance of the standard operating procedures and work instructions for the order fulfilment function;
-Act as a point of reference in the harmonization of the order management processes across Markets;
-Responsible for the function performance and for related continuous improvement identification and progress;
-Coordinate and liaise with the other cross functional teams to ensure the timely order fulfilment process, to meet the needs of the client;
-Responsible for team performance on key performance indicators and staff management, development, support and coaching;
-Maintain and design new reporting.

Main responsibilities:
-Has responsibility for managing market orders, customer orders and transfer orders activities through the order fulfillment cycle;
-Responds to markets and customer inquiries by researching status for order coverage, shipments, past dues and expedites;
-Guarantees Order Management Harmonization (Cross-Country responsibility);
-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, including periodic reviews and updates;
-Manage continuous operational process improvement identification and plans to implement changes in coordination with other Logistics teams;
-Has direct responsibilities on end month reporting within the revenue stream and estimate to sell ships. The individual is required to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues;
-Is responsible to coordinate and manage shipping and distribution operations on a day to day basis. He/She will be responsible for the outgoing shipments as well as the warehouse planning of the South European hub of the Group. He/She will have detailed knowledge about the shipping processes;
-Within his field of responsibility, be directly involved on projects resulting in the primary COFD Manager responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals;
-Team management.

Job Profile

Qualifications and knowledge:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Management or similar. Master’s degree preferred;
-A minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain;
-Strong Customer Service background required;
-A wide and detailed understanding of Order Fulfillment processes and procedures;
-Fluency in English is required, other languages a plus;
-Experience with SAP or other supply chain management system required;
-Proficiency in using database applications with the ability to focus on delivering high- quality client services;
-Ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite;
-Good project management background.

Skills, capabilities, competencies:
-Experience in managing staff and strong project leadership is required;
-Demonstrated ability to manage projects within tight timelines driven by client reporting requirements;
-Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal and representational skills; requires independent analysis, decision-making skills and using prior experience and knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems;
-Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds;
-Ability to work in a strong international environment and effectively cooperate with back offices in other markets;
-Analytic approach.

The COFD Manager will demonstrate expertise in problem-solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues. This individual will act as a mentor by providing leadership and expertise within the department. The COFD Manager will also serve as an escalation point to assist in resolving issues with orders;
