E-COMMERCE D2C MARKETPLACE COORDINATOR (M/F)

Job Responsibilities

The E-commerce Marketplace Coordinator (M/F), is responsible for scouting and entering in untapped online D2C marketplaces at EU level. The marketplace coordinator also oversees and executes the joint business plan ensuring a best in class planning and execution of marketing services in compliance with Group Price & Commercial policies, local product portfolio and channel strategy in all selected online marketplaces.
The marketplace coordinator has a clear understanding of how to leverage digital merchandising, promotions, campaign optimisation in order to deliver a best in class D2C experience in synergy with the Group technology ecosystem and with the objective to drive organisational growth at HQ and local level.

Job Profile

Key Interface Internal-External:
HQ commercial teams, local commercial teams, Group E-commerce team, IT team, local marketing teams, brand comm teams, consultancy and E-commerce vertical agencies.

Main Responsibilities :
? Assess the online D2C marketplace landscape in order to design a strategic positioning framework and ultimately identify business opportunities and priorities;
? Coordinate and execute digital merchandising for online marketplaces, including promo planning, pricing optimization, content creation and optimisation ensuring alignment with Group commercial policy and Global promotions;
? Manage and optimise listings through continuous auditing of products to ensure they are fully optimized with title, descriptions, images, videos, keywords and enhanced content;
? Keywords research, implementation and PPC management for Advertising paid campaigns;
? Daily/weekly optimization to improve KPI performances according to annual goals: drive revenue growth, brand awareness or customer acquisition;
? Develop strategies and tactics to increase revenue and the conversion rate of products, including but not limited to product page optimization, packaging/inserts, customer emails, potential marketplace-exclusive deals, bundling products;
? Design the most suitable governance and operating model (tools, agencies, internal capabilities, workflows,…) to secure an effective line of collaboration with local markets and others HQ functions in relation to: digital merchandising optimization, commercial calendar and marketing services planning and execution, business intelligence & reporting;
? Work closely with local commercial teams and HQ central functions in an effort to support the growth of the online marketplace business;
? Support the definition of assortments and prices for all online marketplaces in compliance with Group channel strategy, Group commercial policy and local product portfolio;
? Coordinate with logistic, operation and customer care teams to ensure product availability and ultimately a best in class shopping experience;
? Monitor, analyze and report on marketplace metrics and sales in order to generate business insights and potential improvements.

Qualifications, Knowledges:
? Minimum of 3 years experience in D2C e-marketplace, e-commerce of equivalent fields;
? Proven track record of experience in working with online marketplaces. Experience buying and selling on marketplaces is preferred;
? Excellent interpersonal skills to work in a team and interface with all levels of corporate functions;
? Degree in Economics / Marketing or similar;
? Ability to create, analyze, and comprehend marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting, production, and communication;
? Understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape (SEO, Data analytics, performance marketing, affiliates, ecommerce);
? Project management and time management skills;
? Good analytics skills;
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel (ie. pivot and advanced charts) and PowerPoint.

Skills, capabilities, competencies:
? Experience in e-merchandising, online marketing, and/or e-commerce;
? Strong communication and presentation skills to explain strategies, reports and findings to team members, managers, directors and partners;
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
? Comfortable with handling email and conversation in English and being part of an international team ;
