E-COMMERCE SPECIALIST (M/F/X)

Job Responsibilities

As and Ecommerce Specialist you will be responsible for ensure the best possible ecommerce execution of the markets assigned to you. In liaison with the local team you will drive and oversee the ecommerce performance. You will be working to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the website, continuously measure site performance to guarantee our customers receive the best possible online service. You will produce and distribute ecommerce sales reports, KPI analytics reports and all customer journey-related reports. You will prepare and lead the monthly performance update meeting with your markets.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- act to drive revenues to reach the annual targets
- optimise customer experience by working on all the different tools of e- merchandising
- generate and analyse reports to collect business insights
- improve customer experience by regularly updating homepage and category page content
- ensure promotions are correctly set up and tested before deploying to the website
- ensure the smooth go live of all new products and product updates
- work in accordance with the market to merge the HQ commercial calendar with any local activity
- liaise with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure all activities are correctly prioritized and scheduled
- liaise with the development team to ensure all known website bugs are evaluated and fixed
- liaise with Customer Services to collect voice-of-customer feedback on the website and use this to amend the website
The role also offers exposure to the full digital marketing mix, including SEO, PPC, affiliates and email marketing, and to in-depth website analytics,
but merchandising is the main focus.

Job Profile

- Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce business in an fast moving company / strategic consultancy firm / best in class digital agency
- Proven track record of successful projects in a B2C company ideally with multi-country coverage aiming at accelerating ecommerce growth
- Good level knowledge of Google analytics in order to analyze results and get meaningful insights
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Good analytical and business acumen
- Understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape (SEO, Data analytics, performance marketing, affiliates, ecommerce)
- Good public speaking skills and capacity to clearly communicate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
