KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER AMAZON (M/F/X)

Job Responsibilities

As KAM Amazon you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the business relationships of the customer and category group assigned with the aim of achieving sustainable growth in turnover, of ensuring that the objectives are implemented in accordance with the category's sales and marketing strategy, through the autonomous planning, preparation, and execution of annual, acquisition, closing and price negotiations as well as their follow-up and documentation.

Your tasks

- Expansion and maintenance of business relationships with the responsible customer and category group and active support of key partners
- Increase of market share for our business in the responsible customer and category group
- Management of the key account with a focus on sell-out activities
- Creation of coordinated account plans at the category level to build a strategic customer relationship with the responsible customer base
- Implement account plans at category level and set annual goals in close coordination with the channel manager, the local Amazon team, other functions, and the international Amazon team
- Presentation and active distribution of our products to the responsible customers (Amazon)
- Coordination with the supervisor; Timely involvement of the supervisor in case of uncertainties, crises, and major decisions
- Planning, preparation, and execution of periodical meeting and talks, as well as for their follow-up and documentation
- Participation in customer development planning as well as the identification of new potentials with existing customers
- Communication and close coordination with internal departments such as product management (local) as well as internal sales and controlling
- Special close cooperation with Trade Marketing to maximize the customer-specific potential
- Budget planning and budget control in accordance with goals and specifications for the responsible customer group
- Competition and market observation with the corresponding reporting
- Continuous measurement of the achievement of objectives using the existing systems in the responsible customer base
- Participation in trade fairs, customer workshops, and sales conferences
- Participation in special projects

Job Profile

- Successfully completed studies at a university in the field of economics or a comparable education
- Profound knowledge & experience in Amazon customer service
- Very good knowledge of sales and marketing tools for sales management at Amazon for profitable sales growth (ARAP, VC)
- Independent, analytical & systematic working method and goal-oriented task management
- Several years of professional experience in sales as well as an understanding of economic and financial interrelations
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Good knowledge of English
- High willingness to travel and flexibility
- Entrepreneurial thinking, high self-motivation, and persuasive skills
- Strong analytical, creative, and conceptual skills
- Communication and presentation skills
