PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and managing employee inquiries related to compensation. Strong expertise in payroll software, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of payroll laws are essential. The role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Main Responsibilities
• Manage all payroll related system, starting with new hire and gather information on hours worked for each employee;
• Keep track of rates, wages, compensation & benefits rates;
• Address questions regarding payroll topics in order to solve employees and managers issues;
• Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues; receive approval for overtime and bonuses from managers, according to internal regulations;
• Verify and prepare the time sheet for all employees at the end of the month;
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses and benefits with assistance of a payroll system (Clarvision);
• Manage statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper;
• Prepare reports for the management, finance department or other departments (respect deadlines);
• Responsible for meal tickets grant process;
• Manage disciplinary issues according to the Labor Legislation and Internal Regulations.

Job Profile

Qualifications
• Proven experience as payroll specialist – minimum 5 years;
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices;
• Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field;
• Proficient in MS Office and experience working with a payroll software;
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality;
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Bachelor degree - mandatory;
• English – intermediate level.
