Job Responsibilities

De’Longhi Group Design team is currently looking for a Senior Designer with specialisation in the UX-UI field to join our in-house team, developing innovative UX-UI design concepts, for our complete product portfolio, with a focus on the Kenwood brand. The new Colleague will be responsible for all aspects of the UX-UI design process, design trends, ergonomics and product functionalities. In addition there'll be an important collaboration with various functional teams, including Product Design, Engineering, R&D, Marketing and Quality, dislocated in Italy and in the UK.

Principle Accountabilities
To create and to develop all UX-UI related tasks in close cooperation with the Industrial Design Organization, from conceptual ideation until final execution.

Main Responsibilities
- Support the Industrial Design team in the definition of new physical and digital interfaces and Apps
- Contribute on the new interface’s architecture definition, illustrating design ideas with storyboards, wireframes, flow diagrams and interactive functional prototypes (low and high fidelity)
- Collect and evaluate users’ needs, insights and behaviours

Job Profile

- Minimum Bachelor, preferred Master University degree in Industrial Design or Engineering with a specialisation in UX-UI field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in design agencies or other companies covering similar roles
- Proven experience in UX-UI design projects

- Proficiency with graphic and interaction design software, like: Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Xd, Figma, Sketch, Protopie, Axure and similar
- Proficiency in articulating and advocating designs to cross functional audiences
- Coding competences in create interactive prototypes of Apps with XCode, or Android Studio
- Ability to create tangible UI samples with Arduino or Raspberry Pie or other developer environment
- Willingness to work and collaborate in cross functional teams
- Solution oriented mindset
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel in Europe and UK
