S&OP, DEMAND PLANNING ANALYST
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented S&OP and Demand Planning Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team at our headquarters in Treviso.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively to meet the growing demand for our products across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for our entire product range, collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization, and actively contributing to the successful execution of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Main responsabilities
- Forecasting and Analysis:
? Utilize statistical forecasting tools (SAP IBP, Amazon Web Services) and techniques to generate accurate baseline forecasts and identify potential demand fluctuations;
? Analyze and interpret demand data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, providing insights to support decision-making;
? Analyse and challenge the Sales forecast submitted from each subsidiaries for the next 12 months;
? Elaborate the long term forecast with a rolling horizon of 12-24 months, incorporating business intelligence and forecasted information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources;
? Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and S&OP, identifying areas for improvement. In particular, continuously monitor forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):
? Manage Forecast Consensus activity to reduce BIAS and support the company’s business objectives;
? Prepare and lead the Country Sales & Operations meeting with each subsidiary, highlighting risks and opportunities;
? Assist the Regional S&OP and Demand Planning Manager in preparing reports.
- Collaboration and Communication:
? Works closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand demand forecasting drivers and sales trend;
? Collaborate with Supply Planning and Inventory Management teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence;
? Liaise with subsidiaries on forecast submissions, adhering to timelines, error resolution, and processing workflows.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
? Manage the forecast in line with the product lifecycle (new launches, Phase in-Phase out, discontinuation).
- Continuous Improvement:
? Proactively identify and implement process improvements within demand planning and S&OP to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good level of written and spoken English.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience: proven experience in demand planning and forecasting. Previous experiences in supply chain or controlling is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Strong command of demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, SAP S/4 HANA) and advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus.
