TRADE COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Job Responsibilities

We are seeing a Foreign Trade Referent that takes care of the company's import and export activities, ensuring that all operations comply with international and local regulations. He / She facilitates the efficient flow of goods and services between different countries, maintaining close relations with external partners and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

1.Import and Export activities:
Carries out import and export processes’ activities Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade legislation. Preparation and verification of documents required for import and export, such as commercial invoices, certificates of origin and packing lists.

2.Planning and Logistics:
Working with logistics teams and suppliers to organize efficient transport of goods. Optimization of transport costs and logistics processes. Monitoring the route and delivery of goods to ensure respected delivery times and the safety of goods.

3.Compliance and Regulation:
Keeping up to date with changes in international and local trade legislation. Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, Wrong towards authorizations and licenses required for import and export.

4.Relationships and Negotiations:
Maintaining and developing relationships with external partners, including suppliers, customers and customs authorities.
Monitor, analyze and interpret government regulations as they relate to customs and export control regulations.

5.Documentation and Reporting:
Drawing up and keeping detailed records of import/export transactions. Developing regular reports on foreign trade activities and their performance. Analysis of business data to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

6.Support and Internal Consulting:
Providing advice and support to internal teams on issues related to foreign trade. Staff training in connection with import/export procedures and regulations.

Job Profile

Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing foreign trade activities

Education:
University Degree - Specializations in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Masters in Trade or related field

Competencies:
• Understanding of European and International Trade Organization Regulations;
• Experience in EU customs procedures and other complex customs matters;
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade law
• Very good organization and time management skills.
• The ability to work independently and make quick and efficient decisions.
• Very good negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good decision making skills;
• IT skills, including the use of foreign trade management and ERP software packages
• English language – mid to - upper level;
