PRODUCTION PLANNER

Job Responsibilities

The Production Planner is responsible for defining a mid-long-term finished products plan for our factories combining commercial prevision (forecasting), production capacity, and stock level/rotation in order to realize a sustainable production plan in terms of costs and procurement and satisfy our market requests.

Main Responsibilities
• Constantly check factory capacity, customer sales orders, production schedules, inventory reports;
• Update work center capacity to meet capacity requirements;
• Receive and confirm customer orders;
• Plan and prepare production schedules for all work centers according to production sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders;
• Prepare production reports;
• Coordinate new product implementation and phase-in / phase-out projects;
• Communicate with:- internal stakeholders: buyer, expediter, the different areas responsible external stakeholders: customers;
• Responsible for KPI: on-time delivery to the customer, and production attainment.

Job Profile

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree;
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in production planning or material planning;
• Analytical and numerical skills;
• Organized person, with the ability to prioritize work tasks;
• Coordination and decision-making abilities;
• Good PC Knowledge (solid Microsoft Office skills – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; e-mail);
• ERP knowledge is a must (SAP is an important advantage, but not mandatory);
• Fluent English speaker – Mandatory; Italian – conversational level -> big Plus;
• Team player.
