Job Responsibilities

Within De’ Longhi Group Legal Department, Insurance & Product Risk area of competence is in charge to manage the International Insurance Program for the Group (e.g. General Liability, Product Recall, Property, Cargo&Marine, D&O, Cyber,…), product risk matters (including product risk assessment and treatment) and product crisis situations (including recall crises and product safety and liability claims). It is also committed to identify possible actions to improve risks transfer solutions, loss prevention and potential product crises handling

- Support to manage the International Insurance Program for the various risk lines
- Collaborate to the maintenance, application and development of specific insurance programs and related policies, interacting with the broker
- Support to manage surveys by insurance and appraisal companies, actively participating and ensuring correct management of the feedback and improvement plans that may derive from them
- Develop data analyses and statistics for monitoring and reporting purposes, both internal and external, whether referring to technical or economic data, including in-depth analyses on specific topics rather than for insurance renewals scope.
- Maintain and develop the repositories in use
- Contribute to monitoring actions and events on the market that may be of interest, related to the insurance portfolio or the range of products of the Group, surveying institutional sites of authorities, trade associations or the like
- Support the management of incidents, claims and near miss for which the office is competent, on international markets, working closely with the Product Safety&Liability Director and the Product Safety Manager

Job Profile

Qualifications and knowledge:

- Bachelor/Master Degree in Statistics or Managerial Engineering
- A previous experience in Product Risk/Product liability will be a plus
