Chairman and Executive Director

Chairman and Executive Director, in office at the date the Company was listed, and more specifically since 18 April 2001, was born in Treviso (Italy) in 1939.

After graduating in Economics from Venice Ca' Foscari University, he developed the Company into the parent of a multinational Group.

He is currently also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of other companies in the Group.

Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, member of the Board of Directors since the Company was listed and, more specifically, since 18 April 2001, was born in Treviso (Italy) in 1967.

After graduating in Business Economics from Bocconi University in Milan, he has held several positions in the Company's Sales and Marketing Department in Italy and abroad.

He was Chief Executive Officer of the Group from June 2005 to April 2020, guiding it through its international expansion.

He resumed the position of CEO of the Group in September 2022.

Currently, he holds other executive positions in Group's companies.

Executive Director, in office since 12 July 2017, was born in Trieste (Italy) in 1984.

She obtained a degree in Political Science from Trieste University.

Nicola Serafin

General Manager

Nicola Serafin has been appointed General Manager of Gruppo De' Longhi on 1st January 2023.

Born in the province of Venice in 1970, he began his career in De’ Longhi in the second half of the 1990s as a process engineer. In the following decade, he participated in the Group's industrial internationalisation process with growing responsibilities in Europe and Asia.

He is responsible for both the technology transfer and development of industrial sites in Italy, China, Russia and Romania. Since 2012, he has also been involved in Research & Development endeavours, in charge of the competence centres for innovation and product development in Italy, Germany, UK, Hong Kong and China. From 1.1.2023 he assumed the role of General Manager of De' Longhi Group.

He sits on the Boards of Directors of various Group companies both in Europe and Asia, and also represents the company as a director within the subsidiaries Eversys S.A., DL‐TCL HOLDINGS (HK) LTD. and NPE S.r.l. After graduating with honours in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Padua, his gained his first work experiences in the mechanical industry at Danieli S.p.a. and in the textile industry with the Benetton Group.

He also holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration obtained at the London Business School.

Paul Accornero has been Chief Commercial Officer of the De’ Longhi Group since 2018 and CEO of De' Longhi Kenwood APA Ltd. (based in Hong Kong).

Born in Australia in 1969, he joined the De’ Longhi Group in 2008 holding various positions, such as regional Commercial Director for the America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Middle East areas, in charge of the globalisation, growth and expansion of the De’ Longhi Group's brands and operations. He graduated in Business Administration at the University of Queensland, Australia, and completed his studies in business at Harvard Business School.

After starting his career at Ernst & Young's Audit and Corporate Recovery & Insolvency divisions, he spent most of his career holding various commercial and marketing positions in leading companies engaging in the FMCG (Fast‐Moving Consumer Goods) and luxury goods market.

He sits on the Board of Directors of various Group Companies around the world, and is a former chairman and CEO of companies based in the United States, Japan and Singapore, he held major sales and marketing positions within the L'Oréal Group for over a decade in Australia, China and the Asia-Pacific region. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in the United Kingdom and a Knight of OESSH (KHS) authorised by the Italian Republic.

Stefano Biella has been Chief Financial Officer since 2016. He also sits on the Board of Directors of several Italian and foreign group and non-group companies. Born in Verona in 1963, he joined the De’ Longhi Group in 1999 holding positions of responsibility in the administrative and financial area.

He played an active role in the internationalisation process, in handling extraordinary merger and acquisition operations and in the Company’s listing on the Milan Stock Exchange.

Stefano Biella has been Chief Financial Officer since 2016. He also sits on the Board of Directors of several Italian and foreign group and non-group companies. Born in Verona in July 1963, he joined the De’ Longhi Group in 1999 holding positions of responsibility in the administrative and financial area.

He played an active role in the internationalisation process, in handling extraordinary merger and acquisition operations and in the Company’s listing on the Milan Stock Exchange.

After graduating in Economics and Commerce, he worked in a number of areas, including assurance, auditing and extraordinary transactions for industrial and financial groups at Coopers&Lybrand (currently PwC). He is a statutory auditor.

He has been Chief Strategy & Control Officer since 2016.

Born in the province of Ancona in 1963, he joined the De’ Longhi Group in 2007, where he initially held the position of Group Controller Director. He also held similar positions in Spain, Portugal and France, where he managed the acquisition of Scholtes S.a. In 1999, he became CFO and Managing Director of the Swiss branch, which was responsible for the Group's non‐European exports. In 2003, he served as Group Service Sourcing Director.

During his career in the Indesit Group, he sat on the boards of several associated companies. In 2018, he attended the 25th General Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Married with two children, he lives between Veneto and Marche.

In January 2000 he joined De'Longhi Group as Human Resources Development Director, contributing to the company’s listing at the Milan Stock Exchange and to the acquisition of Kenwood.

After finalizing the reorganization process of the Italian factories in 2005, he was promoted in May 2006 to the role of Group Human Resources and Organization Director, role maintained up to 2023.

Over the years he contributed to the internationalization of the Group’s industrial organization and sales subsidiaries network, to important M&A operations, as well as to the development of a of De’Longhi culture based on a strong Group Identity, a shared Vision and Values and a continuos attention to our People, the engine for business development and success.

Since 2007 he is Secretary of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee of De'Longhi S.p.A. and, as of 2021, member of the Whistleblowing Committee.

Born in Pavia 1971, he began his career as a consultant in Kearney and Boston Consulting Group working on projects across Europe in automotive, engineering and FMCG (Fast‐Moving Consumer Goods) industries focused on performance improvement projects across Europe, Asia and North America. Before joining De'Longhi Group, he was Group Supply Chain and After Sales Director in Sky and Head of European Supply Chain Programs in Amazon.

He joined the De’ Longhi Group in 2020 as Group Supply Chain Director and has been managing the supply chain transformation program across all geographies. Matteo holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Politecnico of Milano and a MBA from Insead as well as a Master's Degree in Management of Production from Chalmers University in Goteborg.
He is responsible for the industrial sites in Italy, China and Romania, for Logistics, Supply Chain and Procurement across the Group.
Married with two daughters, he lives between Veneto and Lombardia.
