MOLD ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities
As a Mold Engineer in De' Longhi Group, you will be in charge of the adjustments for the plastic injection machines and their peripherals and continous improvement of the molding processes.
Main Responsibilities:
• Approves and validates of new molds for plastic injection;
• Adjusts the injection parameters according to the settings sheets and optimizing them in case of need;
• Tests new molds (injection parameters, robot program, gripper assembly, etc.);
• Collaborates with the Quality department, operators, setters and logistics of the department;
• Intervene quickly on the injection process in order to remediate the issues whenever it is notified;
• Involves in continuous improvement of molding timing;
• Propose ideas in adjusting molds and processes in the direction of continuous improvement.
Job Profile
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field;
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position in plastics injection field;
• English - advanced level (Italian is an advantage);
• Customer orientation and continuous improvement;
• Spirit of initiative, creativity and flexibility;
• Good skills in organizing, communicating, and managing time.
