E-COMMERCE SPECIALIST - MATERNITY LEAVE

Job Responsibilities

As and Ecommerce Specialist you will be responsible for ensure the best possible ecommerce execution of the markets assigned to you. In liaison with the local team you will drive and oversee the ecommerce performance.
You will be working to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the website, continuously measure site performance to guarantee our customers receive the best possible online service.
You will produce and distribute ecommerce sales reports, KPI analytics reports and all customer journey-related reports.
You will prepare and lead the monthly performance update meeting with your markets.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet or exceed industry standards.
- Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Improving customer experience by regularly updating homepage and category page content.
- Ensuring promotions are correctly set up and tested before deploying to the website.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to generate accurate forecasts.
- Liaising with the development team to ensure all known website bugs are evaluated and fixed.
- The role also offers exposure to the full digital marketing mix, including SEO, PPC, affiliates and email marketing, and to in-depth website analytics, but merchandising is the main focus.

Job Profile

- Ideally 1+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce business in an fast moving company / strategic consultancy firm / best in class digital agency.
- You are data-driven and love to perform regular analyses so you can continuously improve your KPIs
- Skilled in using Google Analytics and other BI Tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- You are highly motivated, a team player, yet also able to work independently
- Strong Understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape (SEO, Data analytics, performance marketing, affiliates, ecommerce)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Salesforce commerce cloud or with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or SAP.
- Knowledge of DAM, PIM and CMS platforms.
- Direct experience in international business projects.
