FINANCIAL CONSOLIDATION SPECIALIST
Job Responsibilities
The role will support the Financial Reporting and Consolidation team and will be responsible for a certain number of foreign subsidiaries.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
? Constant interface with foreign subsidiaries in order to coordinate and support them on accounting/finance/compliance topics;
? Analysis and implementation of the new accounting standards and interpretations under IFRS in the Group’s financial statements, including the preparation of proper instructions for the subsidiaries;
? Analysis of specific transactions in order to define the proper accounting treatment;
? Review and analysis of the quarterly reporting package, together with the subsidiaries financial controllers;
? Drafting the consolidation accounting entries according to IAS/IFRS standards for quarterly and annual closing;
? Collaborating on the quarterly and annual closing processes and on the preparation of the consolidated financial statement.
Job Profile
Qualifications, Knowledges:
? Master Degree in Economics and Management, Finance;
? At least 2 years of relevant experience in a multinational company and/or in a consulting firm.
Skills, capabilities, competencies:
? Knowledge of IAS/IFRS standards (Group Reporting expertise will be considered a plus)
? Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to the use of Excel, PowerPoint and the SAP system;
? Teamwork, problem solving, flexibility;
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
? Ability to travel nationally and internationally;
? Fluent in English (other languages are appreciated)
