LOGISTIC COORDINATOR
Job Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator in Madaras is responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and products are processed through the delivery and warehouse system efficiently and safely.
Main Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently manage the logistics operations in-bound and outbound required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications and group standards, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible, and ensuring the required best working practices are always maintained;
- Organize and follow all inbound shipments to ensure goods are promptly dispatched and tracked through to delivery;
- Check supplier documentation is correct for each shipment, including pre-advice;
- Resolve issues during the shipping period, communicating any delays to the relevant departments;
- Actively identifying opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve margins;
- Maintain awareness of customs compliance updates, and company awareness on topical logistics issues;
- Acting as the logistics way-finder by working closely with heads of department on logistic projects;
- Support the wholesale team in customs compliance on outbound goods;
- Build strong internal and external working relationships with the Group team and suppliers;
- Proactively work on identifying improvement opportunities and effectively implement any changes to the logistics processes to achieve the best execution;
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors;
- Manage and develop a high-performing logistic team that meets agreed objectives, and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements;
- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports;
- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required;
- Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing holiday allowances, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity;
- Input and hold responsibility for logistics budgets;
- Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operations, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results, in line with Group and Customer requirements.
Job Profile
Qualifications, Knowledges:
- + 3 years relevant working experience in logistics management roles with leadership component;
- Logistics experience with significant knowledge in warehouse management, in-bound and out-bound;
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
- Fluent in English, both orally and in writing;
- Understanding of supply chain processes;
- Good ERP Systems knowledge, MS Office package;
- Support encourage and develop the team and take ownership of the team;
- Positive result-driven and hands-on attitude;
- Good organizational and time-management skills.

Skills, Capabilities, Competencies:
Critical thinking and problem solving, strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, along with proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office, and knowledge of supply chain processes. Essential abilities also involve customer service, attention to detail, time management, and the capacity to multitask and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
