MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

Purpose:
In this role, the Maintenance Coordinator ensures high availability and reliability of production equipment by coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. The role involves leading the maintenance team, managing spare parts, and driving downtime reduction through effective planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Principal Accountabilities:
Equipment availability & reliability; downtime minimization; maintenance planning & resource coordination; spare parts inventory & cost control; team leadership, training & development; performance monitoring (KPIs) and continuous improvement; compliance
with safety and internal standards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all machinery/equipment, ensuring proper documentation and records;
- Prioritize interventions to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity;
- Manage spare parts inventory (availability, consumption, and cost control);
- Work closely with Production/Engineering/Quality to troubleshoot issues and improve equipment performance;
- Review maintenance reports and KPIs, identify root causes and implement corrective actions;
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities and allocate resources to ensure effective production support;
- Lead, communicate and motivate the maintenance team; define development plans and training needs;
- Coordinate training and onboarding for maintenance personnel;
- Support HR processes within the department (recruitment, performance, disciplinary actions), in line with company procedures.

Job Profile

Qualifications, Knowledge:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Extensive experience within a manufacturing/production facility;
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field;
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Good communication skills;
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
