PRICING ANALYST
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will:
• Provide detailed Competitive Analyses on a quarterly basis for the relevant product categories depending on market data availability
• Make quarterly analyses on Group product ranges, turnover, margins and commercial conditions in place in the various countries, connecting with all relevant stakeholders
• Update the Product Value Drivers (OMVs) in cooperation with Product Marketing on a yearly basis
• Monitor online and offline prices to consumers internationally of both own products and competitors’ ones using specific Group Programs and External Tools
• Suggest continuous improvement to the Pricing Scraping Dashboard
• Update market data reports on a quarterly basis for Commercial use
• Actively participate to the Group Commercial Policy and its continuous improvement
• Ensure the availability and the regular updates of all relevant pieces of information in the Commercial Policy Tool
• Monitor the subsidiaries sell-in prices, customers’ terms and conditions in force in the various countries, realized triple net prices by producing monthly detailed pricing analytics.
• Provide detailed monthly Outliers analyses both internationally and per single European country.
• Suggest continuous improvements to the Group Commercial Policy Tool, working closely with the IT department
• Support the preparation of the main reviews to the Group Pricing & Commercial Policy Guidelines
• Support the definition of own e-commerce pricing setting and guidelines
• Support the roll out of Commercial Policy outside of Europe in case of need
• Support the possible introduction of an Integrated Pricing Tool
• Help on any other Commercial Excellence Team’s activities as needed
Job Profile
- At least 3 years working experience as a business analyst, junior controller, sales analyst, preferably around revenue growth management / pricing / commercial policy topics;
- Bachelor Degree in Economics or equivalent, Statistics or equivalent, Engineering;
- Good/Very Good English;
- Italian a strong advantage, but not strictly necessary;
- SAP & Sap Analytics Cloud know-how an advantage, but not strictly necessary;
- Highly numerate, analytical and data driven in approach;
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheet skills, a must
- Advanced PowerPoint / Google Slides skills;
- Good Business acumen;
- Inquisitive nature, innovative and proactive;
- Comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually;
- Sales Driven, results oriented and focused;
- Organized problem solver, does not give up when confronted with difficult challenges;
- Able to adjust to fast changing business environment;
- Self-starter with the ability to organize and manage time and workload;
- Available to travel whenever necessary on an occasional basis
