TRADE MARKETING INTERN
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Trainee to join our team. This role will primarily focus on point-of-sale initiatives, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on trade marketing experience in a dynamic environment. You'll be instrumental in bringing our brand stories to life directly where our customers make their purchasing decisions, ensuring our products are effectively displayed and our campaigns resonate.
As a Trade Marketing Trainee, you'll support the Marketing Department with the following tasks:
• Vendor Management: Directly coordinate with POS material suppliers, including taking measurements, defining furniture specifications, and scheduling implementations in various points of sale.
• Implementation Coordination: Work closely with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely execution of POS deployments.
• Display Guidelines: Develop and maintain clear guidelines for displaying each brand in commercial spaces (planograms/category management) and monitor compliance with these guidelines.
• Branding and Campaigns: Support the development and execution of in-store advertising, campaigns, and the storytelling elements of marketing campaigns at the POS.
• Creative Requests: Control and report creative asset requests for the POS using our internal platform.
• Customization Orders: Contact our design and production agency for requested POS customizations.
• Digital Catalogue Support: Provide assistance with the digital product catalogue, working in collaboration with Brand Managers.
• Material Stock Control: Manage stock levels of merchandising and point-of-sale (POSM) materials, and allocate them to our field sales team (GPV).
• Warehouse Operations: Perform operational tasks with the warehouse, including placing orders, managing deliveries, and coordinating pickups.
• New Furniture Proposals: Collaborate with design and production suppliers to develop new POS furniture proposals.
• Presentations and Training: Assist in creating product presentations for training sessions.
• Event, Fair, and Company Convention Support: Provide support for events and fairs, from initial planning to execution and dismantling.
• Monthly Reporting: Help compile and finalize monthly trade marketing reports, including photographic reports of best practices and new implementations.
Period:
Minimum of 6 months.
Hours:
Between 20 and 35 hours per week.
Job Profile
Education:
Currently pursuing a University Degree/Master's in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
No prior professional experience is required. Internships or academic projects related to marketing, trade marketing, or retail will be valued.
