Last November, Venice was hit by exceptionally high tides, peaking at 187 cm.

These caused damage and disruption to the city and its residents, to the point that Mayor Brugnaro had to declare a state of emergency.

Help came quickly: following these exceptional circumstances, the non-profit organisation “La terra trema il cuore no” (The Earth Shakes, the Heart Does Not) mobilised to support the local community and turned to De’ Longhi, which decided to donate 130 dehumidifiers to the families struck by the disaster in the Venice Lido, Burano, and Pellestrina.
