This role offers a significant opportunity to apply and deepen your knowledge of mechanical modeling software. You will be responsible for creating new 3D models and their associated 2D drawings. A key part of your work will be supporting the critical migration project, transitioning from a "multi-code" drawing logic to a streamlined "one drawing/one code" system. This position is a chance to gain impactful, hands-on practical experience.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Initial Training and Onboarding: Start with specialized training covering core 3D/2D CAD processes, the New Product Development (NPD) process, and Running Change (RC) Management. You will also gain comprehensive insight into the R&D department's structure and operations;
- 3D/2D Design and Modeling: Utilize advanced software like Siemens NX to develop accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings. This work is critical for supporting the standardization project;
- Product Lifecycle Management: Understand how PLM software works (Siemens TeamCenter), comprehending the "as is" and "to be" scenarios for Lean Office goals improvement;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate within a dynamic team environment, actively collaborating with colleagues across various departments, including Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Industrialization.
Job Profile
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, or a High School Diploma from a Scientific/Technical Institute
- Fluency in written and verbal English communication
- Proficiency with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Familiarity with CAD 3D softwares
