RETAIL MEDIA EXPERT

Job Responsibilities

The Role in a Nutshell:
We are looking for a hands-on, data-driven Retail Media Expert to lead the operational execution and strategic optimization of our retail media presence across Europe. You won't just be "overseeing" agencies; you will be the engine room of our retail media plans, working directly within the ecosystems of partners like MediaMarkt, Currys, Otto, Unieuro, Darty, and more.
As a key member of the Global Paid Media team, you will bridge the gap between performance marketing and commercial sales, ensuring our products are winning the "digital shelf" and driving measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: End-to-end management of retail media campaigns (Sponsored Products, Display, Video) across major European retailers.
Media Planning & Execution: Develop and implement bespoke media plans for partners such as MediaMarkt, Currys, Otto, and Unieuro, aligning with seasonal peaks and product launches.
Budget Management: Manage and allocate retail media budgets, ensuring optimal spend across different platforms to hit ROAS and Market Share targets.
Performance Optimization: Conduct daily monitoring and A/B testing of bids, keywords, and creative assets to maximize visibility and conversion.
Reporting & Insights: Translate complex data into actionable insights. You will provide the Global Head of Paid Media with weekly/monthly performance deep-dives and "so-what" summaries.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the technical point of contact for local trade marketing teams and external retail media networks/aggregators.

Job Profile

Who You Are
The Practitioner: You have 3-5 years of experience in Paid Media, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Retail Media Networks (RMNs).
Platform Savvy: You are comfortable navigating various retail portals (e.g., CitrusAd, Criteo, or bespoke retailer dashboards like the MediaMarkt/Saturn platform).
Analytically Minded: You don't just look at ROAS; you understand iROAS, New-to-Brand (NTB) metrics, and the impact of organic vs. paid synergy.
European Perspective: You understand the nuances of the European retail landscape—from the tech-heavy requirements of Currys in the UK to the marketplace dynamics of Otto in Germany.

Technical Skills & Qualifications
Tools: Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, and Retail Media bidding tools.
Languages: Full professional fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in other languages is a significant plus.
Experience: Proven track record of managing high-budget campaigns with a focus on Consumer Electronics or Mass Market retail.

Why Join Us?
You will have the autonomy to shape the retail media roadmap for a global player. This isn't a "siloed" role; you will be at the heart of our digital transformation, working directly with the Global Head of Paid Media to redefine how we sell in the digital age.
