SUSTAINABILITY INTEGRATION EXPERT

Job Responsibilities

Scope:
The Sustainability Integration Expert promotes the integration of ESG principles and actions across the group companies and functions. You will oversee the management of the CO2 inventory (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and ensure audit-ready reporting for voluntary disclosures including CDP, UNGC and EcoVadis. By embedding sustainability KPIs into departmental workflows, you will transition ESG toward a "business as usual" approach, while supporting company-wide engagement initiatives to build a culture of accountability.

The Role in a Nutshell
As our Sustainability Integration Expert, you will be a key resource supporting our climate strategy and corporate transparency. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, leading the preparation of our CO2 inventory and producing information needed for our group ESG disclosures. In a sector where energy efficiency and product lifecycle are key, you will ensure our household appliance portfolio is characterised by audit-ready environmental data.

Key Responsibilities:
Carbon Footprint Management: Support the oversight of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions at corporate level, including all group sales, manufacturing sites, and logistics operations. Assist in the annual GHG data consolidation process and collaborate with external consultants to maintain a compliant, high-accuracy CO2 inventory in line with the GHG Protocol.
Energy & Waste: Monitor and support Plants and Commercial Subsidiaries to implement energy-efficiency projects and "Zero Waste to Landfill" initiatives.
Circularity: Collaborate with product and process development functions in order to implement circular initiatives and promote eco-design guidelines implementation.
Responsible Sourcing: work closely with procurement to perform risk assessments and audits to ensure ESG practices across our vendors portfolio.
ESG Data Management: Work closely with the Finance Department to standardise the collection of sustainability KPIs across the Group.
Framework Alignment: Assist in drafting annual sustainability reports in alignment with GRI, or CSRD requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the subject matter expert for internal teams, providing training on sustainability best practices and emerging global regulations.
Climate Disclosures & ESG Rating: Support the end-to-end annual CDP submission process. You will conduct gap analyses to identify performance levers across key rating platforms—such as EcoVadis and CDP—and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic operational improvements
Contribute to key projects particularly relevant for our Group sustainability journey.

Job Profile

Skills & Qualifications:
You have approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate sustainability or environmental consulting.
Ideally, you have support / produce at least two full reporting cycles and understand how to manage the process from initial data collection through to final submission.
Stakeholders management experience and capability to advocate for sustainable practices across the organization.
You are highly organized and used to working under the strict deadlines of disclosure seasons.
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, statistics or a related field with a focus on Sustainability.
Strong knowledge of the GHG Protocol and experience calculating Scope 3 (specifically "Use of Sold Products" which is critical for appliances).
Advanced use of analytical tools (you are comfortable with large, complex datasets). Experience with ESG software is a plus.
Fluency in English and Italian is essential, Chinese will be a plus.
